'ALCAD clean product': a seal that guarantees the safety of our products against Coronavirus
05/05/2020
The pandemic caused by COVID-19 has forced the entire society to reformulate hygiene and safety protocols to stop the escalation of infections. From the first moment, at ALCAD we have been very aware of the importance of applying these standards to our factory production. In this way, we can guarantee the health and safety not only of our workers, but also of our clients, a commitment that is reflected in our 'ALCAD clean product' seal.
The 'ALCAD clean product' seal guarantees that any product that leaves our factory is free of Coronavirus. In this way, those who receive one of our shipments only have to worry about following the best practices for the safe reception and opening of delivery parcels, since, once opened, what you will find inside will be clean of Coronavirus.
To resolve any type of doubt regarding this protocol, we have created a document that you can download here and place it in a visible place in your workplace.
At ALCAD we are aware of the concern it raises among our customers, and by extension the end customer, the fact of receiving goods over which they have not had prior control. Therefore, one of our main concerns has been, from the first day, guaranteeing your tranquility, and thus we have put all the means at our disposal to collaborate in your health and safety in the place where you must carry out the installation.
In this sense, the exceptional measures that we are applying in our factory to protect the health of ALCAD workers and ensure that our products reach their intended users in the right conditions are being diverse. These standards have been updated and will continue to do so depending on the current situation, always following the guidelines set by the competent authorities. In summary:
- Use of gloves, masks and hydroalcoholic solution by workers.
- New shifts and schedules to avoid crowds in common areas of the workplace.
- Respect for safety distances between people.
- Retention in our product warehouse before delivery for 4 days, enough time if we take into account the estimate of survival of Coronavirus on surfaces according to the WHO (World Health Organization).
- Detection of body temperature of all workers using an infrared thermometer.
Other exceptional measures
Likewise, another series of general exceptional measures within the organization, aligned with the WHO guidelines and with the objective of minimizing the possibilities of contagion, are now including:
- Telework in those cases where it is possible and as long as it is compatible with maintaining its quality.
- Videoconference meetings, both internal and with people outside our organization, using the different tools available and that we already use in a daily basis.
- Webinars, periodic workshops via videoconference for our clients and partners, with the aim of keeping them up to date with news in our product catalogue in our different lines of business.
Have any doubts or questions about these measures and how they affect our products and services? Please contact us - we will be happy to assist you.
